  Vernon is a graduate of Seattle University with a BS degree in civil engineering.  He became a licensed Realtor Broker 19 years ago after over 25 years as a Civil Engineer and manager of major water resource projects in the northwest.  
 
Vernon is active in the Seattle King Co. Realtors and a Director of the Washington State Realtors Association. 
 
During the past years Vernon has been participating in residential real estate development and selling.  This experience has continued to be helpful to both sellers and buyers.

    I was born in North Dakota, moved to Seattle in 1951, and graduated from Lincoln High School.  I married Sibbie Kristjanson in February 1956.  We have four children, all married and three living in the Seattle area and one in Ohio.  My husband retired from Icelandic Construction Co. in 1994 and I retired as Parish Administrator from Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church.  Following that, we joined the staff at Loyal Realty, Inc.

I have been trained in Real Estate for 2 different states, and also worked as a mortgage loan officer for 2 years in Washington State, before transitioning back into Real Estate. I enjoy my time here at Loyal Realty, Inc continuing my knowledge of Real Estate as well as Property Management.      

Living over 2 decades in the Seattle area has given me a huge appreciation for this beautiful and scenic city and its history. I enjoy watching new homebuyers get their first set of keys, and also current homeowners to sell and move to a new change in their life.

   I was born in North Dakota and moved with my parents and siblings to Seattle in 1951.  I graduated from Lincoln High School then attended the U of W.  I married my wife, Bonnie, in May 1958.  We have three children, all married and living in the Seattle area.  We have seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  I have been in Real Estate 25+ years, the last three working with my sister at Loyal Realty, Inc.  My knowledge of the Real Estate business will be helpful if you have any real estate questions.  Just give me a call.
