As a result of her work ethic, extensive experience, and market knowledge, Muna and Loyal Property Management are consistently sought out by local residents seeking professional property management in Seattle. Muna has been cultivating her impressive list of clientele and reputation for 24 years.
Muna began her residential and business property management career in 1987 and remains dedicated to serving the members of the Ballard community and surrounding areas. Muna started her career in Tacoma, Washington where she owned several rental properties and co-owned a thriving grocery & deli, happily creating two successful businesses simultaneously. Her businesses provided opportunity to get rigorously involved with the City of Tacoma neighborhood watch teams and give significant donations to help support housing for low-income families.
After much success in Tacoma, Muna wanted a change of atmosphere and fewer hours at her grocery business, so she decided to relocate to Ballard in 1999 with her 3 daughters. Her immediate immersion in the Ballard community paid off with several recognitions for her small business achievements, including being recognized for her famous Philly steak sandwich with editorials in the Seattle Times and Ballard News. That recognition and relentless hard work landed her a Management position at Loyal Realty in 2003.
The last 8 years have been so much fun for Muna as she has enjoyed working hard and dedicating herself to bring tremendous value to her Loyal Realty clients. Muna is continually prospering in her career and receives much joy from the relationships she has with her renters and property owners.
Muna is originally from Yemen, and grew up in Dearborn, Michigan. She is fluent in Arabic. She enjoys cooking and entertaining her friends and family. She loves to read and travel, especially visiting with her daughters at their college campuses. Bikram yoga and boating are amongst some of her hobbies; but most of all, she is content with the simple things in life.
I
was born in Iceland in 1945 and lived there most of my life. I moved to Spain in 1992 for about 5 years where I got involved in real estate and founded a restaurant and a bar. When I moved back to Iceland I got into real estate. I became a grandmother in 1999 when my first grandchild was born in Seattle. I wanted more than anything to be a part of her life so I took my real estate training through a computer course while working in the real estate office in Iceland. I came to Seattle to take my test and got my Washington real estate license in 2004. By doing so I moved over to Seattle and have lived in Ballard most of the time since, though I have sold properties in Snohomish and King Counties.
I teach the Icelandic language, as well as being an interpreter and translator. I enjoy working in real estate; it is a job that gives an opportunity to meet many people and I love to see a happy face after a successful transaction that has helped both sellers and buyers to put an ending to a search for a new home or lift a burden on the ones who are trying to sell their property. I have just joined Loyal Realty and look forward to working with the excellent staff and agents there. I have a long working experience in this field in more countries than one and offer my expertise to you anytime. Just give me a call at 206.250.5481 with any question related to real estate; short sale, marketing analysis, or how to go about selling or buying. I’d love to be of assistance to you.
